While Jewish communities around the world celebrated the 60th anniversary of the state of Israel,...

...Obama marked the occasion by picking up another known, anti-Israel advisor. Following in the wake of Obama campaign advisor, Joseph Cirincione’s inane statement declaring that Israel should give up its nukes in order to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons; former congressman David Bonior joined team Obama.

Bonior’s long standing anti-Israel congressional voting record underscores the observation that Obama adheres to an alarming prerogative in appointing anti-Israel advisors. The penchant for anti-Israel policy coming out of the Obama campaign is reinforced by Obama’s disturbing policy statements on the Middle East.

Upon his arrival in Rome for the UN global food security summit, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad uttered radically Anti-Semitic statements to the international press. In response to the hate speech, his name was dropped from a closing gala, by Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi; yet Obama has pledged to meet unconditionally with Ahmadinejad.

It’s difficult to discern what is more damaging to the future of the U.S. if Obama ends up in the White House, his disparaging domestic policy or the rampant anti-Israel tone of his campaign? Countless examples of Anti-Israel policy surround Obama, from the church he spent 20 years at, to numerous statements attributed to his campaign.

The state of Israel is nothing short of a miracle. It has persevered in a hostile neighborhood surrounded by aggressive neighbors. Israel is a modern democracy and a world leader in technology that respects human rights, the rule of law and freedom of religious and political expression. An overwhelming majority of American citizens support Israel in spite of the anti-Israel bias in the American media.

The main stream media in the U.S. has deteriorated to the point of becoming nothing less than a brutish propaganda tool of the Left. Journalistic ethics were dumped in the dustbin long ago as truth was replaced with ideology. There exists a clear double standard when discussion turns to Israel and the Palestinian Arabs. Whereas Israel is condemned in the harshest terms for the slightest mis-step, horrendous statements of Anti-Semitism are conveniently left out of any coverage.

On March 30, 2008, Hamas spokesman, Ismail Radwan stated in a sermon broadcast on Palestinian Authority TV, “The Hour of Resurrection will not take place until the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims kill them, and the rock and the tree will say: “Oh, Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, kill him!” (source: Palestinian Media Watch)

Where is the outcry as Radwan urges the killing of Jews? How does a statement as evil and volatile as the words of Radwan manage to avoid being cited in relation to the coverage of the conflict in the Middle East by the main stream media? The answer is simple. They must be on the side of the Hamas terrorists. There exists no other explanation. As for Obama and the growing list of anti-Israel advisors on his advisory panel, we can expect a politically expedient ‘distancing’ statement from him at some time in the near future.

Leftists in the media encourage full-scale appeasement while pressuring Israel to concede more land as the answer to hostility in the region. Meanwhile, terrorism and mass-killing attacks are on the rise against Israel; along with an increase in rocket attacks by Palestinian terrorists from the Gaza Strip.

The director of the nongovernmental Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, Dr. Reuven Erlich points to Iran as a huge contributor to the operational capabilities of terrorists in the Gaza Strip. The funding needed, to further the goal that is the destruction of Israel is provided by the man Obama has pledged to speak to without conditions.

Not to be outdone, Osama bin Laden weighed in to mark Israel’s 60th anniversary with a vow to continue to fight against the Jewish State and its allies in the West. Although the authenticity of the tape from bin Laden has yet to be verified, the voice and message are thought to be of the al Qaeda leader. Bin Laden represents a virulent form of anti-Semitism that is taught through hate speech, incitement and an outrageous misrepresentation of the facts.

Ex-President Jimmy Carter, notorious for his work as the Democrat party’s poster child for undermining U.S. foreign policy while abroad, leaked Israeli secrets in London regarding the number of nukes in the Israeli arsenal; as he encouraged European heads of state to break with the U.S. over the international embargo on Gaza. Carter uttered all of this, on the heels of his visit to the Syrian capital of Damascus where he held talks with Khaled Meshaal, leader of the militant Palestinian movement Hamas.

The situation in the Middle East is complex; but certain facts are incontrovertible and most prominent among them is the reality that Israel is a beacon of freedom and democracy. As Israel has sought peace with its neighbors in the region, it has made concessions in exchange for security. The true road block to peace lies in the terror connection. Palestinian leaders must work to promote peace by dismantling terrorist organizations like Hamas, whose primary goal is the destruction of Israel.

Obama has revealed his policy stance on the conflict by inviting known anti-Israel advisors to join his campaign. As Americans, we must stand with Israel at 60 years and beyond, as we support the Jewish culture, their nationhood and their history.

McCain's supporters should run a TV ad titled "Democrats for McCain", in which they lambast Obama for his foolhardy and dangerous stance towards Mideast dictators. This would be reminiscent of the "Democrats for Reagan" ad of the 1980 campaign.

Remember when documentaries were being produced and seen on tv about the terrorists...and one thing said was that they were instructed to shave the beards off, engage in western culture, disgusting though it may be to them, and win the trust of the Americans (or Germans, Brits etc). All this to distract us from the real goals they have which is to destroy the west as we know it and to convert one and all to the Islam religion and set of laws “or else”..
How do we know that this is not the goal of this Obama...that is being treated like a rock star. We have all at one time said he is just an “empty suit”. On second though He is not an empty suit...he has goals and they are goals we won’t like and the first to scream out loud will be those who put him in office after he starts to put his plans into effect. He needs to smoked out.

That's because Obama's ardent followers who are not swayed by logic, reason, or truth, and to whom, regardless of his positions, his gaffes, his past, or his associations, worship him as an idol

Nothing you can say or do will convince these people otherwise...


Because I am the one they and I have been waiting for...and I am lovin' it.

Those wild eyed people represent the millions of Americans raised in the government day-care and indoctrination centers we call public schools who did not have, or would not listen to, parents and others who tried to counterweight the garbage they heard at school...who have been raised on 60 second sound bite time spans and know no better.

You have other tens of millions on the dole who will vote for him regardless of position because he promises to keep pilfering the public largess for them.

Still othes of millions will vote for him simply because he is black.

Other millions will vote for him because they know exactly who he is and what he represents and agree with his anti-American positions.

The first three are all what is termed, useful idiots, a term coined by Lenin for the dupes he got to support him.

Against this it is left to us to educate, arouse, and amass the tens of millions of Americans who understand and hold fast to the foundational principles our constitutional republic rests upon...many of them the bitter, rural Americans clinging to their guns and religion that Obama so arrogantly spoke of.

Finally, the following comparison is worth noting:

A populsitic, charismatic, self-serving individual has a way of mesmerizing foolish people looking for an idol...then and now.

Barack Hussein Obama is the apex of the hate-America, domestic enemy in this country. His election as president would be the greatest coup any enemy has ever scored against this country and could easily lead to the worst, horrific disaster in our nation's history.

I agree a great commentary by Bridget. This points to just one aspect of a man that America doesn’t know. I hate to sound defeatist but I suspect that things are rolling toward the media electing a man who has a hidden agenda regarding whites and the Jewish nation; who professes to be a Christian but has attended a church for 20 years that is not Christian in it’s theology(a Marxist Black Liberation Theology); has been taught Islamic teachings that instructs that deception of non muslim’s is appropriate; does not represent the majority of America’s values; has made and continues to befriend unsavory characters; has been the most consistent liberal voter in Washington, many times seemingly appeasing two sides; is espousing “change” but doesn’t spell out the kind of change he would bring. The problem is that his kind of change is not what America wants but we are, as a nation,unwilling to make the required effort to find out what he stands for and we are being spoon fed his PR by the mainstream media. Will America wake up before November?

As was recently suggested on another post here this past week, the Israelis have been given a new urgency to, how shall we say “address” their issue with Iran.

The next four months political discourse here will have great impact on strategy with them, with the prospect of
an Obama presidency looming like a tornado cloud.

Things could get really bad, as we all know.

I agree. Whenever a major move like this is underway; one that defies logic, I suspect a spiritual battle as a possibility. I don’t think we can underestimate Obama’s spiritual stance, both in the church he attends and the muslim upbringing he had as a child.
