WASHINGTON -- We'll have to discard the old adage, "Everyone talks about the weather, but no one does anything about it." In this era of global warming, it is inoperative, because the whole point of controlling greenhouse gas emissions is to do something about the weather. This promises to be hard and perhaps futile, but there are good and bad ways of attempting it. One of the bad ways is cap-and-trade. Unfortunately, it's the darling of environmental groups and their political allies.

Coldest year in 50 years and they are pumping Global Warming.

RINO's disgust me...
Enjoyed the fact that the Republicans forced the Democrats to have to read all 500 pages of Boxer’s substitute ammendment yesterday because Harry Reid screwed them on circuit court and district court judges. Watching Harry and Leahy get all wrapped around the ax handle last night was priceless. Harry actually said that all the tornados this year are caused by global warming and implied Boxers ammendment would remedy the situation.
Harry: I move to dispense with the reading...
Mitch: I object
It was great theater last night. Harry Reid was all tied up in knots and Leahy looked like a fool. I wish I’d seen it earlier in the day when Jeff Sessions said Harry Reid was clueless. Finally Boxer got to bitch about the 8 hours to read her ammendment.
This could have been avoided if she had written a bill that just read, "All Americans will send us all their money so we can redistibute it as we see fit." The effect would have been about the same and she would have saved all that reading time. Dear God, this brain-dead boob is an absolute diasgrace to the Senate and to California.
bump
No one can talk more and say less than Boxer; although Leahy was trying to last night until Mitch McConnell used point of order to force him to ask a question of Reid. Then he used the “Did you know (fill in a bash of Republicans)?” standard way of asking a question to make a statement. Leahy is a real slimeball.
