"Jerusalem must remain the undivided capital of Israel," Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said in his first speech to a major organization after beating his rival Hillary Clinton and securing his candidacy for US president, Wednesday.
Obama said the United States will remain as staunch an ally of Israel as it has been in the past, and said that Israel should have the same status as states which are full members of NATO in terms of military budget allocations.

***Daniel Kurtzer, former ambassador to Israel and advisor of U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama, said Tuesday that Jerusalem must be included in peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
“It will be impossible to make progress on serious peace talks without putting the future of Jerusalem on the table,” Kurtzer said in a conference organized by the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute (JPPPI).***

All I can do now is shake my head in disbelief. I cannot believe that people are treating this man as a God.
Historically speaking, I am proud that a black man/woman were serious contenders to the president of the united states, I just dont beleive that these two were the right choices.

As an apostate to the Muslim religion, I suggest Barry watch his back when he talks like this...another reason he will not be the President of the United States.

He has all the right words at the right time but when it comes to his actions it always contradicts those words and yet a lot of people are buying him hook, line and sinker.

I e-mailed AIPAC with the same info before Obama started then once he did he said that any e-mail received was false and the AIPAC audience cheered him.

I just watched Barack on the BBC here in UK.
Now don't go thinking I support this guy - though he does seem to have the BBC at least in his thrall.
Now here's the thing. This bloke Obama is a top class orator. Whatever you do, don't underestimate how well this man plays to the gallery.

Obama will say anything to get elected Exactly! He can ramble on and on about how he 'loves' Israel, etc, but the bottom line is that he wants to pull out of Iraq allowing it to fall to Iran. Can you imagine how powerful Iran will become when they seize Iraq's rich oil resources and strategic position nearer to Israel.

He's already been caught in the lie because just 2 weeks ago his adviser said that the only way Israel will have peace is to put Jerusalem on the table.

Exactly right. Iraq is the only dividing area between Iran and Syria which borders Israel so to pull out of Iraq is giving Israel to Iran.

Yeah, point taken. But you Freepers have an ear for this, are others as savvy?.
He struck me (albeit superficially) as a speaker who can ‘sound’ convincing, sound ‘authentic’, sound authoritative.
He will make a lot more ‘I'm no lefty/liberal lightweight speeches before the wire.
Kind regards....
