A military judge has dismissed one of the charges against a Marine lieutenant accused of helping cover up a squad's killings of 24 Iraqis, including women and children.

In this Haditha fiasco, 5 of the 8 Marines had charges dismissed, right? Now is this Marine #6? And he’s only had some charges dismissed, why not all? Does this mean the two Marines’ trumpery cases still pending will probably also have charges dismissed?

Don’t forget about Sergeant Vela, folks! The same type of injustice, a soldier victimized by politics. But he was actually convicted! Folks are trying to get him a pardon, which if Bush is the sort of man he’s portrayed himself to be, he should grant before he leaves the Presidential Office.
