Unlikely. China’s May 12 earthquake was 12 miles deep and registered 7.8...unusual for nukes to be that deep or explosive.

What they are saying, IMHO, is that the earthquake triggered the huge explosion inside an underground nuclear installation(conventional or nuclear? we do not know)and t debris burst out of the ground as a result and scattered all over the place.

If they can get a nuke that deep, the any concern about the world’s petroleum supply is unfounded.
