She is a good Democrat, right?

Nothing here to see folks. Move along.

If there is a problem, it must be that the real estate market has soured. And good Democrats will blame that somehow on George W. Bush. Bottom line - she is a victim and a good Democrat. So this story doesn’t matter.

Now, a Republican having a foreclosure problem would have been due to real estate speculation or other malicious intent. But, since she’s a good Democrat, by definition, nothing of that sort is part of this story.

You're right on the nose. In other statements, she's blamed the whole thing on the economy and the difficulty of having to move multiple times, and announced that it has enabled her to have new insight into the problems of those 'trapped in the subprime crisis'.

It's all in my best interests, though, because if I ever heard a Democrat politician accept responsibility for anything he or she had done, I'd probably burst a blood vessel.
