I don’t want to get all sappy, but I’ve really got a crush on the superdelegate concept. The role, mind you, not the actual (sub)humans that PLAY the role.
Why? Because, no matter how they vote, they’re sure to piss off half of the Demorat electorate. That can only be a GOOD thing.
