“If Obama completely made up this story, Ill be one of the first ones to pounce on it. However, lets get all of the facts out there before we determine that he was completely lying.”
Could it be that his Navy uncle was a medic serving with the Marines and thusly could have been in Europe?
One way or the other, he has an “out”. He can simply say, “Well, it was a family story. That’s what I was always told. If it’s inaccurate then the family lied to me.”

I thought he would have used that line yesterday but he dug the hole a little deeper by adding to the “story”.
Whatever nonsense he spews forth as an explanation will be gladly accepted by his fawning media.

One way or the other, he has an out. He can simply say, Well, it was a family story. Thats what I was always told. If its inaccurate then the family lied to me. Exactly. Or, he could pin it directly on his uncle, the lying rat that he (Obama) is.
"Well, my uncle was known for spinning some pretty good yarns in his day."

No matter how many stories he tells, none will compare to the military service of John McCain.

Except that if you are a candidate running for President of the United States, you should be expected to verify that such stories are factual before incorporating them into a campaign speech for all the world to hear.

Could it be that his Navy uncle was a medic serving with the Marines and thusly could have been in Europe? Marine units did serve in the European Theatre, but generally only as part of landing parties or as gunners on Navy ships. To my knowledge, no Marine unit served east of the Seine.
Barry said that his uncle served in the U.S. Army, as I recall.

Not hardly. The Marines fought in the Pacific during WWII. Of course, the Obamanation could say so and probably get away with it.

There were no Marine units in Europe during WWII. All Marine units were in the Pacific.

I agree completely. Another typical white guy will get thrown under the bus.

Almost every Marine serving in the ETO was a shipboard Fleet Marine on a capital-class warship.

I am wondering if the uncle had an attic.
I am serious.
