LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will join Governor Richardson when he speaks to veterans and their families in Las Cruces on Memorial Day. But the event will not be open to the public, as the campaign had initially said.
The campaign now says veterans and their families will be able to attend the town hall-style event only if they receive invitations.
Obama's visit will be his first since the February Fifth Democratic caucus.
The candidate's wife, Michelle Obama, will be in Albuquerque and Santa Fe on Tuesday for two fundraisers. She also has no public events planned.
What if you had a Memorial Day Parade . . . by invitation only. Obama’s elitist agenda continues.

Invitation = empty meeting hall = no media allowed. I can’t believe many in the military would ever attend such a thing. Moreover, he doesn’t want the media to show a vacant room.
I am not sure that room will be empty since Obama leads all candidates in donations from members of the Military.

I believe that crowd picture was doctored, too - several things made me wonder the first time I saw it. The fuzziness of the horizontally middle being worse than the the horizontally top - which is farther away, for one. I’ve done things like this myself in Paint Shop Pro using duplicate layers to make a larger background scene - nothing political, just innocent stuff. :-) With your drawn circles as a start, I can see several more possible small merge points across the middle and right side top. It shouldn’t be that solid and straight at the outskirts, and the crowd is too far up into the trees. (Which I guess is appropriate.)
Even though Hussein had access to an entire rock concert audience for this, it still looks faked.
