Group wants Wi-Fi banned from public buildings
A group in Santa Fe says the city is discriminating against them because they say that they're allergic to the wireless Internet signal. And now they want Wi-Fi banned from public buildings.
Arthur Firstenberg says he is highly sensitive to certain types of electric fields, including wireless Internet and cell phones.
"I get chest pain and it doesn't go away right away," he said.
Firstenberg and dozens of other electro-sensitive people in Santa Fe claim that putting up Wi-Fi in public places is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The city attorney is now checking to see if putting up Wi-Fi could be considered discrimination.
But City Councilor Ron Trujillo says the areas are already saturated with wireless Internet.
"It's not 1692, it's 2008. Santa Fe needs to embrace this technology, it's not going away," Trujillo said.
The city attorney hopes to have a legal recommendation by the end of the month.

And here I thought I had heard everything from the fruits and nuts gallery. Clearly not. I seriously thought this must be satire at first, but it's not.
Granted, I had a friend years ago who lived UNDER high-tension power lines, and he could feel that sometimes. And we could light up Fluorescent bulbs just standing out under the cables at night, holding a 4-foot bulb up high in the air. I believe that, I saw it.
But that's like MEGAwatts.
BTW, he moved.

they say that they're allergic to the wireless Internet signal F--- these people, along with their can't-stand-the-whiff- of-peanuts children. I'm sure they all believe in Darwin and their "survival of the fitest" mantra. Let the chips fall where they may.

Is this a group of one?

This actually is a rare case where something like wearing a ‘tin foil hat’ might do some good. Assuming this is not a hoax, (big assumption!) the man needs to change his resonant frequency. Someone should tell him to at least try to shield his heart by wraping some tin foil around his upper torso. In addition to shielding, this could change his resonant frequency to the point the signals don’t bother him.
Even losing weight might help, unless it is his bone structure acting as the antenna.

Are law suits and claim to personal fame becoming that hard to come by now?
Mmm, electronic devices have come a long way to be able to discriminate in such a horrible fashion.
It's the end of the world as we know it...
Those drug's from the sixties must have had some positive side effects for some.
I wish I could be as psychic and know when something unsee able, untouchable, and unheard is causing a reaction to my body.

We are indeed in the End Times. The tornadoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis are nothing compared to the total collapse of common sense in humans.

This dude needs to live with the Quakers/Amish then. He also needs to follow Olberman’s advice “SHUT-THE-H***-UP!”
There,.. I finally found something Keith Olberman’s usefull for.
