Or maybe, just maybe, children of moms who spend all day yakking on the phone develop behavioral problems for more prosaic reasons?

Who would give a cellphone to an under-ten?

Apparently these researchers didn’t get the memo. Everyone knows the kid’s behavioral problems are the result of global warming.

What better way to eliminate wireless technology for its positive impact on the capitalistic system than to devise a reason to call it a health hazard. Of course the bath tub can cause death by drowning.

I would expect this same correlation with parents who often used video games, often visited theme parks, often used internet chat program, etc.

Cell phones encourage short attention spans not because of “radiation,” but because people's tolerance for waiting is reduced. Therefore, their behavior with their children shows a short attention span/level of patience.

Children learn from their parents’ behavior. Such parents will be more likely to give their kids things like video games to keep them entertained while the parents are busy being distracted with their toys.
