Obama: I Understand Why Hamas Digs Me

After first denying that Hamas supports him and attacking John McCain for bringing it up, Barack Obama now says he understands why Hamas supports him.

While maintaining an ironclad commitment to Israel’s security, Barack Obama says he understood why a top Hamas adviser voiced support for his presidential bid.

“It’s conceivable that there are those in the Arab world who say to themselves, ‘This is a guy who spent some time in the Muslim world, has a middle name of Hussein and appears more worldly and has called for talks with people, and so he’s not going to be engaging in the same sort of cowboy diplomacy as George Bush,’” Obama said in an interview with The Atlantic.

“That’s a perfectly legitimate perception as long as they’re not confused about my unyielding support for Israel’s security,” Obama said.

“and so he’s not going to be engaging in the same sort of cowboy diplomacy as George Bush”

Except that you’re not running against George Bush so that comparison is not useful.

Obama is more more of a sheepherder than a cowboy.

Obama has more in common with these guys...

Of course he is running against Bush. His campaign theme is change, and one of its strategeries will be to identify JM, the GOP candidate, with the incumbent GOP President.

This guy is unbelievable! His opponents bringing up the fact that his middle name is Hussein is a dirty trick and race baiting, but the fact that his middle name is Hussein shows that he is more worldly and better able to understand issues!? You can't have it both ways Barry.

The doublespeak of the annoited one makes the Clintons look rational in comparison. Of course the his mainstream media sycophants will NEVER highlight his mind boggling hypocrisy.

Or perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Obama’s radical church opposes the state of Israel, and runs Hamas editorials in their bulletin.

They almost had me; but this has to be satire.
If not, it will make some great campaign ads this fall.
