One of the most underreported salient facts about al-Qaeda is how frequently they describe their enemies as "worshipers of the cross." It's a constant element in their public communications. Yet no matter how many times al-Qaeda makes clear their motivations, the mainstream media, the fingers-in-their-ears Left and the Ron Paul Right will continue to tell us that it is our arrogant policies and our arrogant president which make us their enemy.
