What a pleasant surprise, this was at the top of the list
Good morning AB and everyone. Happy Mothers Day to all the conservative mothers on FR today. Congratulations on avoiding the abortion for all the Democrat mothers, it had to be a hard decision.
It appears Miss Hillary is barely hanging on.
I remain amazed that Democrats think a hard left-wing radical racist, with one term as a US Senator, can be elected as President of the United States. Am I the only one who thinks Democrats must believe the voting public is so gullible that they can run anyone and win?
Chris Dodd on MTP? Fifty other Dem senators turned down the invitation?
Happy Mother's Day to all Freeper Moms out there.
Slim pickins today for conservatives, looks like the rats have figured out there is no price to pay, absolutely no down side for totally excluding us, so they do.
It looks like the Republicans are still on spring break.
Or early Memorial break.
Or extended Independence Day break.
A blessed Mother’s Day to all the FR Mothers and lurker Moms.

Thanks for the link!
Thanks Cindy for all you do.
LOL! Morbid but true!
Look at the bright side, dems, she chose to keep YOU!
In my area we have 24/7 Coast Guard Patrols by air and sea that have equipment that is good enough to read the numbers on each boater as they leave and re-enter US waters from the straits of Fla.
We have had an ongoing problem that is not widely known of pirating in some of the Bahamian waters. It does not happen all that often but when it does can be deadly.
I started to not say it but decided to anyway. On the bright side, my mother and her mother before her were Republicans so I was not threatened by it.
My birth was back when such things were considered a bad thing to happen to the mother and baby, not something to use as birth control.
I am amazed that Reps can think its party maverick who has voted against his own party on so many issues like amnesty, drilling in ANWAR, taxes, global warming, political free speech, embryonic stem cell research, closing GITMO, etc. can be elected President of the United States.
That too. You won’t get an argument from me on this one. The one thing McCain has going for him is he would not be as bad for America as either Obama or Hillary would be.
And warm thoughts and blessings to all those whose mothers have gone on .....
May this day be a time of warm memories and a rememberance of the strength, support and great love they showed us in their lives !
I have made calls today to “mothers” that I know and let them know how wonderful they are as mothers and what a spiritual inspiration they are to their children and a role model for all mothers. Sometimes it helps for mothers we know to hear from us how we see the sacrifices they make and how proud we are to have them as friends!
Except on the issue of amnesty, which will destroy this country with a stroke of a pen. Other than that Mrs. Lincloln, how did you enjoy the play?
We had a lively thread on here yesterday after a spokesman on Larry Kudlow's talk show on WABC show announced that the huckster would be McCain's pick. The thread is still alive a couple of hundred posts later believe it or not!
I’m off to the beach for my son’s wedding....see ya’ll in two weeks. By this time next week I’ll have a daughter in law! It’s on the beach with dancing under the stars, so please hope and pray for good weather in the pan handle of FL on 17 May! Have a great mother’s day to all moms here.
It’s gonna be interesting, any predictions.
Strange bedfellows, indeed!
Morning rodguy911.
We had snow two days ago, and mild hail mixed with snow yesterday. Still, the grass is green and we are enjoying springtime.
I’m sure the rumor mill is up and running as various people want to claim they were so smart as they guessed right. Most of us missed it earlier as McCain won the contest for Republicans. It never stops.
Most conservatives will vote for McCain because he’s the lesser of two evils, not because we endorse him.
True but entirely possible.
I refer to amnesty as IMMIGRATION SUICIDE. Too bad so few can ruin our country.
Nothing was said during the CA riot, and now I read this morning the participants were black verses Hispanics fighting. Yep, California is providing leadership in race relations, once again.
Congratulations, and I hope you have a ball with it.
Can someone post the You Tube video of the SNL skit opening of last night that is on You Tube : Hillary Spoof 5-10-08 ?
Its great. I don’t know how to post that.
I agree with you, but McCain sure makes it hard to stick with him.
Of course the DNCmedia will be doing their best to turn voters away from him, every day in every way.
Today there is an article about McCain moving away from his pro-life position.
Just a coincidence that ABC decides to put out that story on Mother’s Day? Not on your life!
And it is totally conjectural because the (power) people who supported him during the primaries are socially leftwing. Carly Fiorina, one of his advisors, is probably pro-abortion. I know that Christie Todd Whitman is, And so it goes!
Beyond my expertise, sorry.
I might need a wheelchair... and a ride to vote for that stinker.
First, the Democrat strategist called it "that Swift Boat group, I forget the name ..." I guess it is true that some people can't handle the truth.
Then the same guy makes a comment that the high point of Barck O;bama's campaign is when Teddy Kennedy endorsed the more liberal of two liberals. Teddy did this along with Caroline Kennedy; Mary Jo must not have been available for a joint press release.
And finally, the Democrat, the Republican, and Steve the moderator all sat there while some guy from New York called in and complained that he can't vote in a party's primary because he is an Independent. Maybe it would have taken to long to explain the concept to him, but it would have been fun to hear them try.
We know the media will be in the tank for Obama.
Just say “President Barak Hussein Obama” three or four times in a row and it is hard to imagaine US voters putting this guy in the White House.
More is coming out on his wife now too, and it shows how both of them are among the radical black liberation movement with all its racism.
Sen. Dodd says that Obama will be the nominee.
He says the Clintons are great democrats and care about the country very much. (Two lies in one sentence.)
All this jumping ship from Hillary to Obama proves to me Democrats always knew how horrible the Clinton’s really are, even while defending them tooth and nail.
We have a candidate who has made the contest a battle of race, black vs. white. Guess who wins that.
Than we have yet another candidate who is all things to all people, he just loves everyone, yet is hard to figure where he actually stands or poses from time to time.
So it's finger in the wind vs. Wright was wrong but I still like him anyway if it's Monday in Detroit.
So what happened to Freeper Polls?
Tells you alot about them, doesn't it.
No predictions from me because the situation is so fluid. There are so many factors that could influence the results, many of them out of the control of either candidate. Right now, I would have to consider the Dems to be the favorite. They have a lot going for them, including a Rep president with very low favorability ratings, an unpopular war, and a flagging economy.
After hearing the O’Reily interview, I agree. McCain is simply awful. When he equated the bleak empty permafrost tundra of ANWR with the Grand Canyon, and threw in Teddy Roosevelt’s conservationism as his model for such a comparison, I nearly lost my lunch! Teddy would not agree. He would want us to drill, knowing full well that we can drill in a relatively small zone compared to the enormous expanse of frozen, treeless flatland that is ANWR. The fact that the environmentaists will not give an inch on ANWR is very telling as to who they support, the average hard working American, or the goddess Gaia.
McCain fails to realize, the little guy is hurting due to increased energy costs brought on to a very great extent to our foolishness concerning the environment; where no scientific evidence but only raw emotion rules to our disadvantage. Even the French get 80% of their electricity from nuclear power that we’ve been taught to fear thanks to Hollywood and the Left. But it’s not just in the gas tank that the little guy is hurting on now, but on everything he needs to buy and survive. The dem candidates want to make it worse by passing a tax on the energy companies that will only be passed on to the public. How do they intend to stop that? They can’t and they won’t! But hey, they’ll tax all of us through their new tax collector EXXON/Mobil.
McCain has a golden opportunity to help his country and his countrymen but what is he going to do? Tow the environmentalist line, which is nature trumps mankind, plain and simple.
I’ve had it with him. McCain is no Republican.
Yep, there is no choice on that issue between the two candidates.
As long as the big players are more afraid of the CCF than the "change for a dollar crowd", Hillary will still be queen. The minute that equation changes watch out.
