At least Barbara is still single. I was going to be her date for the wedding but I was tied up with some business in Rochester.

I think the modesty and lack of pretension of this event, when it could have very easily been otherwise, is quite admirable.

My brother-in-law sang that song to my sister at their wedding in 1979. Timeless choice.

What crummy music taste.
Boring 70’s and 80’s music
Classy music is needed at weddings.
Showtunes, crooner music, light classical

I was very impressed that Jenna chose a relatively simple wedding at her parents home as opposed to a media laden la-tee-dah wedding in Washington.
She showed integrity, imo. Most young brides would crave the attention of a “White House” wedding and all that goes with it. I can't help but believe that reflects her upbringing.
I don't agree with all of President Bush's views. But I, for one, will miss him.

I'm happy for the Bush family. They will remember this night forever.
ABC radio news ran a story of Republicans who traveled to Crawford just to be in town for the event. That seems kooky.
