Actresses Blythe Danner and Gwyneth Paltrow Promote Abortion Business
Life News ^ | 5/9/08 | Steven Ertelt

Posted on 05/09/2008 2:09:42 PM PDT by wagglebee

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Actresses Blythe Danner and Gwyneth Paltrow are at it again, asking abortion advocates across the country to donate money to the nation's largest abortion business.

In an email Friday prior to Mother's Day, the mother and daughter Hollywood stars primped the pump for more donations for Planned Parenthood.

"We are Blythe Danner and Gwyneth Paltrow, and this is the third time we've written a Mother's Day letter to people like you who support Planned Parenthood," they wrote in the email LifeNews.com received.

The pair apparently believe promoting abortion is the best way to honor mothers.

"We think that Mother's Day is the perfect time to think about what it means to support mothers in this country," they added. "There is no organization that we know of that supports motherhood and all that it means more than Planned Parenthood."

Danner and Paltrow beg for funds saying, "These are challenging times for Planned Parenthood."

"The Planned Parenthood Mother's Day campaign happens just once a year. It's a special time for us, made even more special by helping mothers and daughters everywhere by donating to Planned Parenthood Federation of America," they added.

The actresses promised to send a special Mother's Day card to the donors and their mothers in honor of the donation to the company that does nearly 300,000 abortions annually.

"You'll be making a gift to millions of mothers — and to the future of our country. What a profound way to mark this day," the claimed.

Last year, the pair wrote they "cannot stand idly by" while abortion "comes under attack" from pro-life groups and lawmakers.

Cheryl Sullenger, a Kansas pro-life advocate, responded to last year's request for funds by saying, “I think fans like to look at Blythe Danner and Gwenneth Paltrow as an example of loving family members."

"It is disappointing to see how Grandma and Mom could so radically support the brutal killing of innocent babies who would be just as loving and adorable as Paltrow’s children, Apple and new baby Moses, if they were given the same opportunity to live," Sullenger added.

“If Danner and Paltrow were really interested in protecting women, they would use their influence to stop the tragedy of abortion, not continue it,” Sullenger said.

Go back to making mediocre movies because killing babies IS NOT a "gift" to mothers or anyone other than Satan.

I think that on Mother’s Day, Gwyneth should thank her mother for not having aborted her.

Blythe and Gwyneth are spoiled, liberal idiots. Anyone that listens to them is an idiot as well.

Yes, go back and make more snoozathons!

Suppose Shakespeare’s mother had aborted him? Gwyneth would never have been famous.

The same applies to Blythe and Gwyneth. But irony is usually lost on these morons.

Every time I read an article about a movie star, it inspires me to start my own Christian film company for lack of anything I want to watch made by mainstream movie companies.

And then I look at my checkbook, and come back to reality. :)

But I really do wish for more decent movies (and thus, I’d hope, decent movie stars).

These two are whores.

Isaiah 3:16 The LORD says,
“The women of Zion are haughty,
walking along with outstretched necks,
flirting with their eyes,
tripping along with mincing steps,
with ornaments jingling on their ankles.

17 Therefore the Lord will bring sores on the heads of the women of Zion; the LORD will make their scalps bald.”

Who the hell is Blythe Danner, and what the hell kind of name is Blythe? Her parents must have been leftards too.

As far as Paltrow is concerned, she's gravely overrated in the looks department. The only movie I've seen her in was The Royal Tenenbaums, and her part wasn't all that memorable.

I’d love to see the mother of an pro-choice activist publicly state that she wishes she had an abortion. The reaction of said pro-choice activist would be priceless.

Ugh. The fact that they are using Mother’s Day to tie in with killing of babies is so completely oxymoronic and awful that I find it hard to believe people can even stomach this.

Yep, let’s celebrate Mother’s Day by killing babies.

“The best way to honor mothers is to promote abortion, the pair believe.”

That is like saying the best way to honor recovering alcoholics is to have a beer bash.

Talk about irony. Killing babies is the best way to honor moms? MOMS killing their own kids is the best way to HONOR moms?

My God, don’t these people have enough paid handlers who are there to protect these sheltered stars’ images, that would HEAR how absolutely INSANE and IDIOTIC this sounds - and try to stop them from saying this????

Despite her ugly personality, when she was young, Blythe Danner looked pretty good. Nobody told her she’s put on 35+ years since then.

That verse you quoted above seems to fit Ms. Paltrow perfectly, especially here - where she is trying to walk on a cobblestone street in spike heels. A whore AND a moron!

Neither of them understand or have the capacity to understand what they are promoting. They just do what they think will make the other morons they associate with happy.

You aren’t getting my point. They don’t see that an opinion like this would make their clients come off as psycho enough to threaten their pocketbook. They think this that this kind of idea is normal.

No, I do. They are too wrapped up as liberals in thinking everyone thinks like they do. But these people know that the world isn’t homogenous yet they act like it when they let their clients babble idiotically about real hot button issues. They know not everyone thinks like this because they wrote about such people as evil right wingers. They know not everyone thinks like this. They underestimate how many of them there are. THAT is the real problem for them. They don’t know THEY and their clients are the minority. If it were me, I’d play it safe at least on known hot-button issues to tell their clients to steer clear of saying extreme things, and if they had any doubt, jsut not say anything.
