There’s enough head scarves of that type around the it doesn’t raise eyebrows much any more.
The reason people don’t react is because there’s no point. They’ve discovered that any female wearing a head scarf like that is unspeakably rude. They won’t even look at you. The most attention you’d get is the same as the displays they’re avoiding in the aisle; barely a glance. They act as if they’re the only ones around and everyone else is furniture. Very standoffish and aloof.
