Wow. Imagine that. I guess its time for the U.S. to be called on once again to do a massive relief air drop.
Air drops will be chased down by the army and civilians who try to get the dropped supplies will be arrested or shot.
What? Invite the ‘Great Satan’ to feed the people and give them aid????
To be criticized ad neauseum...since the base threw Bush under the bus and took all the fun out of manufacturing Bush administration scandals, they haven't been able to do anything but praise Obama the messiah...they must be getting bored with that.
Somehow, someway this is all going to be blamed on the USA and President Bush.
The usual crap about how uncaring and selfish we all are and if we wanted supplies to get through we would have found a way - and after all the cyclone was a result of global warming which is ALL our fault don’t ya know, etc.,etc
Gosh, I am really torn in my response to this ongoing idea that the United States of America is the only country on earth that can save/help/rescue or respond to emergencies. We're expected to be Rescue Angels one minute and the Great Satan the next. We are a little busy right now dealing with talibans and nation building. One would think that the rest of the world could deal with a tinpan dictatorship murdering its' own people in a country the size of Texas!
