Madison, WI -- A University of Wisconsin Stevens Point student government leader is coming under fire for allegedly trashing a pro-life display on campus. King said it was "his duty as a paying student" to take down the pro-life display.
The pro-life students notified campus Protective Services and, when an officer arrived, most of the students stopped vandalizing the display. However, King did not stop and claimed, "The freedom of speech does not cover these signs and symbols."
Liberals are all about choice UNTIL you choose differently than them.

I guess we all knew that claimed desire for "diversity" was a big lie, eh? It's always nice to see confirmation from their leadership.

Why is it so hard for them to accept the fact that they have either killed or participated in the killing of another human through abortion? He should be more than removed from the student senate he should be expelled for infringing upon the pro life student’s right to freedom of speech.

Liberals are not about “choice” or “freedom” or “democracy” or an “exchange of ideals”. They are socialists. Orwell rejected them and warned of their hypocrisy long ago.
NOTHING has changed.

So when can we expect to see King arraigned on charges of property destruction? Oh right, never, because his actions were "protected free speech." From the story link:
"Jacobsen was charged with theft, criminal mischief and criminal solicitation but those charges were dropped after a court demanded that she apologize. Beforehand, she defended her actions and when the vandalism came under scrutiny, she encouraged the students not to talk to police and to get their own attorneys."
So vandalism of pro-life monuments is punishable by... an apology?! This scumbag libtard professor Jacobsen should not only have been charged wtih criminal mischief, but obstruction of justice as well for encouraging her "students" (legitimized gang) from talking to police. Apparently, if you're pro-life it's not protected free speech, but it is if you're desecrating a pro-life display.

You can’t argue with them about the ethics of murder or even the definition of when human life begins because for them the rights of the woman carrying a fetus always outweighs the rights of the fetus.

He’s conveniently leaving out the fact that most of the paying for his “education” is being done by taxpayers. This is a state school and he’s probably also got federally subsidized guaranteed student loans. Student tuition covers a whopping 14.9% of the University’s operating budget. http://www.wisc.edu/about/facts/budget.php#budgetrevenue

He wrote a letter to the editor in the local paper there.
From Letter: UWSP anti-abortion display was wrong
On May 1, 2008, I removed the crosses from The Pointers for Life display. I felt that this display was disrespectful and for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, allowing this kind of display in the confinements of an educational setting was more than wrong.
There are a number of reasons for which I took it upon myself to remove these crosses (I did not destroy any of them nor did I cut any of their signs). After speaking with several students pertaining to this display on April 30, 2008, I was informed that a few other groups on campus were being questioned regarding their involvement in the construction of this display. The responsible organization was later asked to put up a sign that identified them. My understanding is that any student organization reserving spaces on campus must do this.
The Pointers for Life organization, has come before the Student Government Association (SGA) and asked for my resignation, suggesting I am more than a mere student on this campus, but someone who should be held to different standards.
The Pointer for Life's grievance against me as a UWSP student senator is that I was not representing the student body. On the contrary, many students agree with my actions. The fact is that Pointers for Life's real motivation to demand my resignation is based on our opposing views about abortion.
Further, I was not acting in the name of UWSP Student Government Association, but as an individual who believes one person's right to freedom of speech stops when it infringes on another person's right to a secular education.

Thanks. His writing indicates he hasn't learned much from any prior educaiton he might have had. I don't think he's college material. He's just there, because he thinks he has aright to other people's money to do as he sees fit.
"I was not acting in the name of UWSP Student Government Association, but as an individual who believes one person's right to freedom of speech stops when it infringes on another person's right to a secular education."
Secular folks value the right to life, else there'd be no laws banning assault, battery and murder.
