On FOX tonight, Bob Beckel told a story from his campaign days. On election night, the city of Gary had not called in any vote totals. He called the mayor and said “Mr. Mayor, when are you going to call in your numbers?” The mayor responded, “As soon as you tell me how many votes you need.” I have no trouble whatsoever believing this story.

See my post, # 40,above. I thought I may have misinterpreted Beckel. He basically related a story of a federal crime committed by a corrupt democratic mayor and he was absolutely nonchalant about it.

Beckel's attitude about voter fraud and criminal conduct was very revealing and is common among democrats. They shrug it off like it is no big deal.

My apologies for missing that. I don't think you misinterpreted him. Not only did Beckel not seem to see the incident as a crime, it sounded to me as though he actually thought it quite funny.
