That's my understanding. They can't use any police or military ranges in their own country. They had to travel to other countries to train before this agreement. The place has lost common sense, excepting local election results last weekend.

Not only can’t the UK team practice there, neither can any other team, although a shooting competition actually will be taking place inside of UK borders.
Since guns cause crime, it’s likely some Olympic athlete is going to go on a rampage after target practice.
Brilliant move. Too bad they haven't managed to outlaw militant Islamist acts of terror. When you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns. The UK has plenty of armed outlaws and few armed subjects. They even have "knife control" laws. Next they will outlaw rocks, beer bottles and cricket bats.
