Amen bro.
Perhaps living in Ithica can contaminate one's brain in a negative way.
The purpose of “operation chaos” is obviously to make chaos. The longer the primary goes on the more damaged both democrat candidates become.
To me the thing is Rush talks about it way too much, a few thousand voting for Hillary because he said to won’t change much. And he takes credit for things that he isn;t doing. As if operation chaos deserves credit for Jeremiah Wright speaking at NAACP.
But the idea that he’s doing this cause he somehow wants Hillary to become president is just silly.
(and BTW Rush WAS ripping on Hillary quite a bit until Obama became the frontrunner)
I’ll rephrase: It was claimed that the purpose of OC was to weaken BOTH candidates. Name one thing he’s done to weaken Hillary during Operation Chaos. She’s winning states, surging in some polls and creating a perception that she’s more electable in November.
What kind of immigration policy do you think will go through with Hillary as POTUS? What kind of tax increases? What kind of judges? What will she do to a military both she and her husband loath? There are a host of issues that McCain would be better on.
Fixed it.
Operation Chaos might have been the deciding factor - but either way we are beholding a total meltdown and divisive primary season in the Dem party.
And you don’t think it’s (KAOS) having the same effect on OUR side? Read some of these threads, man! If the Clintons get the nod thanks to ‘conservative’ book writers and talk radio, you’re going to see a complete fracture on our side as well.
No shit Sherlock!
I voted for Hillary in the Texas primary because she is behind in delegates. That is the whole point, to see that there is no clear winner.
If Hillary gets ahead, interlopers can vote for Obama.
Why don't you counter what Rush and I are doing and help organize the democRATs?
These can easily be the exact words of George Soros, Cindy Sheehan, Harry Reid and Teddy Kennedy.
Congrats on your association Hugo.
That fracture has already happened,it has nothing to do with the Dem primary.
Hillary is polling ahead of Obama and McCain, the press is picking up on her "electability" and "popular vote" arguments and mainstream conservative commentators at National Review and elsewhere are nothing that it is starting to look like she could legitimately win the nominaton.
Yet, Rush still says we should support her, not Obama.
:-)
fracture? we have had that from day one of the primary. We have an RNC which is completely mentally isolated from the DNC.
The GOP is not fractured as much as fully infultrated by whitless rinos that think their members are as pathetic as unionistas or race baiters. The GOP does not have a plantation like the DNC.
” Name one thing Ingraham, Coulter, Hannity, Levine, or FOX news has done to weaken Hillary. Every night its two hours non-stop of the Rev saying God Damn Americaon both OReilley and Hannity & Colmes. Its like the Hillary Power bloc . Sometimes Greta makes it three.”
I’m with you. Seems to me it would have been better to bury the beast first, then open up on Barry.
The way it has unfolded Clinton stands a chance to make it.
Pray for all if that happens
“Yeah, the last ones against a Clinton presidency worked out real well, didnt they?”
They did. BJ was impeached and Republicans won the next two elections (granted Bush hasn’t lived up to the dream, but it did lead to 8 years of republican rule.
I was the a fair-haired girl around here when I was posting pro-Fred Thompson comments. But as soon as I started questioning Rush’s OC, all hell broke loose. I’ve never seen such vileness and ugliness spewed forth from those that claim to be conservatives. I thought I accidentally stumbled on the Huffington Post or something.
If it keeps Obama from the WH, more power to it. Obama is nothing more than a black but even more naive and liberal Jimmy Carter. The absolutely best scenario is that this campaign ruins Hillary for any future runs and makes Obama far out of the mainstream so that McCain wins. Right now the plan is going as best as could be expected, so I have no complaints. Both Obama and Hillary are getting exposed for who they are and are not able to start pandering to the middle.
As much as the democRATs need house cleaning, much more needs to be done on the GOP side. Clinton has feminized much of the electorate, as the anti-Chaos bed-wetters so typify.
Fight the democRATs with their own game or answer to your RINO master.
Certainly, it’s a horrible problem any way you slice it. The main advantage with hillary is that we can hope she screws up, we can hope the Republicans in congress will fight her, and we can hope that conservatives can take back congress in two years and the White House in four.
With McCain in the White House we will still get lousy SCOTUS appointments—more David Souters instead of Ruth Bader Ginsbergs—but there will be no option to vote for the other party to kick him out. And it’s 10-1 that he will groom an even worse RINO to succeed him, because that’s the way his mind runs, and his election will prove once again that the Party establishment can impose anyone they like on the base.
Note that I did not say that any pleasure can be taken in ANY of the possible choices. They are all unacceptable. But we have no alternatives. Not a pretty picture.
