Were the Clintons behind Wright?
Clintonista machinations and the intuitive brilliance of my wife
By Christopher Cook
Were the Clintons behind Wright's appearance at the National Press Club? That is the supposition, based on developing information, at the New York Daily News, the Anchoress, and Strata-sphere.
Here are the key grafs from the Daily News:
The Rev. Jeremiah Wright couldn't have done more damage to Barack Obama's campaign if he had tried. And you have to wonder if that's just what one friend of Wright wanted.Shortly before he rose to deliver his rambling, angry, sarcastic remarks at the National Press Club Monday, Wright sat next to, and chatted with, Barbara Reynolds.
A former editorial board member at USA Today, she runs something called Reynolds News Services and teaches ministry at the Howard University School of Divinity. (She is an ordained minister).
It also turns out that Reynolds - introduced Monday as a member of the National Press Club "who organized" the event - is an enthusiastic Hillary Clinton supporter.
Oh my goodness, imagine if this were a Clinton thing! And imagine if that became more generally known! Now, you might say these are the Clintons we're talking about, so it will not become known, or if it does, it won't have any real ramifications for them.

The Clintons didn’t put words in Wright’s mouth.
If the Clintons were instrumental in exposing Wright to the country, then good for the Clintons. I suspect Wright and many other black ministers have been spewing these hate whitey messages for a long time.
Nah, the Clintons are not behind this. Wright’s enormous ego is behind this.
“Wrights enormous ego is behind this.”
Exactly. And inflated more so by his taking this opportunity for 15 minutes of national fame and further justification of his “Keep Hate Alive” gravy train. His comments are to assure that this train never derails.
As always - $$$$$
Obama just doesn't know how the Clinton's play...
When Obama went to his press conference to announce - he did not want Wright to be with him. Wright is an ego-maniac & it teed him off that he couldn't share the spot light.
Wright was very willing to be used by the Clintons to make sure Obama paid for this snub to him...& it apparently is working.
Shirley not! Nobody wants to believe it because nobody wants to think that they and their all too predictable reactions of outrage have been manipulated by the Klintonistas. But the timing of the good ole Reverend’s recent appearances, just before the final, deciding primaries, gives one food for thought. Conversations, meetings happen behind the scenes, agreements reached, words prepared to be spoken, nothing in the world of politics happens spontaneously. Yesterday we learned that the Reverend’s appearance before the National Press Club was arranged by, gasp! a Klintonista! What else? Who nudged this clown, who stroked his ego to come out now and not two weeks from now, not three weeks ago? Shirley, you are being manipulated!
“The Rev. Jeremiah Wright couldn’t have done more damage to Barack Obama’s campaign if he had tried.”
I don’t think so. Wright and St. Obama have had their hands in each other’s pockets for 20 years...that means he knows exactly how Obama rose to power, who helped him (and why), who’s paid for that rise, and what Obama has given them in return. I’d say Wright hasn’t even started to do the damage that he COULD do.
Probably.
Jeremiah Wright: “The Pastor of Disaster!”
I agree. Maybe this is true & maybe it is not. It is simply politics. However, the only way O can really limit the damage is by convincing people that Hillary is the issue, not his association with Wright.
Good point! Blame the white woman! She’s typical — just like granny!
