$20/ticket is awfully high, especially since...
the Drive-bys are trying their very best to convince Americans that our economy is terrible and getting worse!

Thanks for that ping and the post. I’ll bookmark that one for sure. It is good to see TankerKC get some recognition. Yes, Buckhead was the “fire for effect” barrage, but Tanker was the spotting round and right on target. And there were others who played a part as outlined in my #19.

$20 is high, but worth it...plan to spend 3 / 4 hours. It is a vast series of exhibits and themes. The First Amendment area will teach history to our younger citizens as they sure don’t receive it in most schools.
I made the visit on opening day at kristinn’s request and the price was right.... free admission on opening day.

It was thrill to see the key role played by Free Republic in exposing a media lie against Bush at a pivotal moment right before the November election. The Newseum will draw a lot of tourists and many will see this. Indeed. Their exhibit is incomplete without the now infamous words of one Jonathan Klein when interviewed on FoxNews:
CBS executive Jonathan Klein said of the bloggers, You couldnt have a starker contrast between the multiple layers of checks and balances (at 60 Minutes) and a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas writing.
Giving rise to, of course, this...

to all: JimRob is "going under the knife" todayWhat can we do to make sure he wakes up to a completed FReepathon. Maybe somebody with a good ping list start a thread focused on that? FReepathons are NOT supposed to run on into a second month!

Thank you! I’ve been checking the sidebar and didn’t see anything—certainly this would count as breaking news, IMO! :-)
