You are right on target, and I do not think for one minute that he has thrown him under the bus.

Wright told Obama’s supporters that Obama had to say what he did because to get elected that what he needed to say.

He gave Obama cover.

If this was planned then my guess is it will be one of the worst mistakes ever made in American political history. I believe this has cost Obama the nomination. The super delgate backpedalling has not yet begun, but it will, and in earnest. When the dust settles, Hillary will be on the stage accepting the nomination.

No...no. You’re too conspiratorial here. It’s simpler than that. Wright was his mentor. He’s not going to let Obama gradually distance himself like that—throwing him under the bus an inch at a time hoping no one will notice.
You think Wright’s ego can handle that? His entire pastoral life tapped just to get some young kid elected to
the presidency who, afterward, won’t give credit publicly or privately to the man?

Maybe some people would be willing to see the big picture and make such a sacrifice, but not this guy.

What does Wright gain by being tossed aside in order to get Obama into the White House? Nothing...not now. Maybe later, years later, but he’s myopic and wants his fame and praise now. Wright isn’t willing to wait for God to give him his props.

This is a case of Obama going from adoring the man to 1) having his handlers talk to him 2) not wanting him to do things and to keep quiet. Baiscally, disrespecting Wright’s legacy. That’s what Obama’s doing. And Obama must do that because Wright only represents 15% of the population. Obama must (and has, I believe) rise above it, and I think he’s really trying to do that.

Wright ain’t gonna take it.

No matter what, this was not his strategy trust me. He is watching his entire world vanish before his eyes. I know he’s in a fog right now. I have ZERO support to lend to Obama and I’d vote for Mccain and Hillary first—always would have—but I cringed listening to his press conference today. I felt heaps for the man. Regardless of what happens, he is in a fight for his life with his father.

No matter how great you are, you are always your father’s son. He will always pwn you.
Wright is, in all ways but genes, his father.
Obama’s father has come forth to put this boy in place as only he can, and he’s doing it.
It’s terrible.

The person who staged this event was a Hillary supporter...

Obama saying whatever will get elected is old politics not new. This really doesn’t help Obama in any way.

This whole thing is NOT going to play well in Indiana or other flyover territory. Either Obama is racist or saying whatever he has to say to get elected or both.
