Excellent series. I’d have to put “Lonesome Dove” right up there with it.
Just happen to be watching that on DVD. It appears to have all been done in the studio and I've been trying to figure out how they did the lighting for the outdoor scenes.As for shows missing off of the list.

I actually bought a copy a couple years back. Derek Jacobi is great. I remember watching the original on PBS back when I was taking Latin in Junior High.
