McCain: "Clear Who Hamas Wants to be the Next President" (Hamas Endorses Obama)
The Weekly Standard ^ | April 25, 208 | Michael Goldfarb

McCain spoke with bloggers this morning on a number of issues ranging from William Ayers to Rev. Wright to Tony Rezko. Jennifer Rubin noted that Hamas had endorsed Senator Obama and asked McCain whether Obama might have given "an unhelpful signal" to the terrorist group. McCain's response:

All I can tell you Jennifer is that I think it's very clear who Hamas wants to be the next president of the United States. So apparently has Danny Ortega and several others. I think that people should understand that I will be Hamas's worst nightmare....If senator Obama is favored by Hamas I think people can make judgments accordingly.

Earlier this month, Ahmed Yousef, chief political adviser to the Prime Minister of Hamas, told WABC radio, "We like Mr. Obama and we hope he will win the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy." When Obama campaign manager David Axelrod was informed of the endorsement following last week's debate in Pennsylvania, he said it was "flattering when anybody says that Barack Obama would follow in [JFK's] footsteps."

But, will the DBM EVER tell the truth? No.

Wrong. We get what they (the people who voted for him) deserve.

Possibly a matter of semantics; but, you're right. I stand corrected. Thanks.

Deserves to be repeated.

When Obama campaign manager David Axelrod was informed of the endorsement following last week's debate in Pennsylvania, he said it was "flattering when anybody says that Barack Obama would follow in [JFK's] footsteps."

So the guy Obama hired to get him elected is flattered that a bunch of terrorists want Obama to win. The only correct response, upon hearing of the endorsement, would have been to immediately and clearly denounce Hamas. Axelrod failed, and if Obama does not fire him, Obama also fails this test.

I wouldn’t be surprised if these comments make some waves ... and if the MSM takes McCain to task for saying this.

Of course, that would raise the percentage of voters who know that Hamas has endorsed Obama from about 10% to about 60%.

So, please don’t throw us in that brier patch ....

How ‘bout that. This thread answers your tagline.

It will take a lot of convincing to make me believe that Barack Hussein Osama-Obama is not a Marxist Muslim.

Yes, one something I can agree with. Now, about all the other things he has said and done that I do not agree with...and that is why I will not vote for him for president. On the other hand, I did not vote for him when he was running for the senate while I lived in Arizona. He is a war hero. Beyond that, I have little to say about him.

Yes, the Demagogues will hesitate to make any fuss because that will ensure that far more voters know about this. That is why it is essential that some 527 group get an ad out immediately that presents Obama as “the candidate endorsed by Hamas” with some of his most revealing moments as he talks about sucking up to the world’s worst dictators.

Once McCain or some of the Demagogues are forced to discuss such an ad it should go “viral” in the web.
