Shows you what a “little” college leftist liberalism is doing to the younger set.

Big deal. My ancestors were democrats, a couple of which were elected officials. That was back when democrats supported working families.

Nixon was a Rockefeller Republican anyway.

I’d really like to know her reasoning. It doesn’t make sense.

Since my Father served under Eisenhower, Is this supposed to influence me? “Well, Gee”! If that Marxist creep is good enough for Julie, he’s most certainly good enough for me”!

I honestly can’t see ANYONE voting for that guy because Julie backs him. Old, senile people?

Like father, like daughter. Daddy was a liberal, a big government guy, so why shouldn’t she support Obama? Who cares?

[Julie Nixon] Eisenhower has contributed the maximum amount allowed during the primary season to Obama’s campaign: $2,300.

This is interesting because Julie’s husband’s sister is Susan Eisenhower, and she’s for Obama too.....I wonder what’s going on with that family. I always thought Julie was sensible...

**********

“Why I’m Backing Obama”

By Susan Eisenhower
Saturday, February 2, 2008

“Forty-seven years ago, my grandfather Dwight D. Eisenhower bid farewell to a nation he had served for more than five decades. In his televised address, Ike famously coined the term “military-industrial complex,” and he offered advice that is still relevant today.

My grandfather was pursued by both political parties and eventually became the Republican nominee. Despite being a charismatic war hero, he did not have an easy ride to the nomination.

He went on to win the presidency — with the indispensable help of a “Democrats for Eisenhower” movement. These crossover voters were attracted by his pledge to bring change to Washington and by the prospect that he would unify the nation.

It is in this great tradition of crossover voters that I support Barack Obama’s candidacy for president. If the Democratic Party chooses Obama as its candidate, this lifelong Republican will work to get him elected and encourage him to seek strategic solutions to meet America’s greatest challenges. To be successful, our president will need bipartisan help.”

Amazing, liberals can’t find anything nice to say about Nixon, but now that he’s long dead, they hold up these Nixonites as Obama’s crossover voters.

Hillarious.

I wonder how many of Obama’s relatives in Kansas, the typical white ones, will be voting for McCain?

Bet the MSM ignores each and every one of them.
