CINCINNATI -- A two-day schedule of memorial services for a fallen Clermont County soldier will require military precision to successfully pull off.
Sgt. Matt Maupins remains will arrive Saturday morning around 8 a.m. at the main runway at Lunken Airport, where his family will spend some private time together on the tarmac.
A procession will bear his remains along state Route 32, which has already been decorated with yellow ribbons, through Newtown.
A public visitation is schedule to begin around 11 a.m. at Union Township Civic Center, and remain open continuously until Sunday morning at 7 a.m.
About 300 parking spaces will be available at the civic center parking lot, and relatives said more than 3,000 additional spots will be available at the nearby TGL lot and behind Dillards at Eastgate Mall.
Frequent shuttles will run from 11 a.m. until 10:30 p.m., family members said.

Prayers for the Maupin family.
Thanks and appreciation for the PGR.
Prayers for him and his family. I don’t live anywhere near there, but I hope you keep us updated. Thank you.
It would be nice if such a showing occurred because it would truly be awesome. Each person has to decide that they need to be there. And there is so much THERE that needs covering. There are several major rides planned to facilities in two separate counties and each overpass is another opportunity for Uninvited Guests to cause trouble.
No one will see it all except the Family, not even the various Ride Captains. You have to pick where you are going to make your stand, and have a portable TV to see the rest.
Now that the route has been published this is even moreso. So we need folks with flags and common sense all along the route and on overpasses in a safe and responsible way.
Anyone participating with the PGR must attend mission briefings that day because everything can change at a moments notice.

I understand. This is breaking my heart more each day.
Will the PGR take part in the procession on Saturday from the airport to the Civic Center or are they only riding on Sunday?
Hopefully free of rain tomorrow afternoon through Sunday evening. This is a fitting tribute from humbled Americans for Matt Maupin and the others across the nation who have made the supreme sacrifice.
Read the above link to the PGR site for this for all of the details.
To make a long story short, the PGR will be everywhere for the entire deal as much as possible defending these folks and making sure this is handled respectfully and showing our very strong sense of the honor entrusted in us by the family.
We are currently expecting up to 100 Ride Captains from surrounding states as well as Ohio, and lord knows how many riders, every one needed.
Also, Rolling Thunder, and Several Other Veterans riding groups are participating together with PGR or on their own.
There is much to do and so many miles for several major rides to cover.
Indeed. There have been many preparations. http://cincinnati.reds.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080425&content_id=2588897&vkey=news_cin&fext=.jsp&c_id=cin
