No, Jeffs is in prison in Utah after being CONVICTED there of being an accomplice to the rape of a 14 year old girl whose marriage he arranged. He is awaiting trial on additional charges in Arizona, for actually raping underage girls himself. It shouldn’t have taken a call from a victim, real or fake, to get Texas authorities to aggressively investigate the goings-on inside this compound. Jeffs is still giving orders from his prison cell. The day before the “raid” on the compound, two of the male leaders from the Texas compound visited Jeffs at his prison in Utah.
I believe that the State of Texas may find itself on the wrong legal side of this issue because of the recent Supreme Court decision (also in Texas) which stated that their sodomy statute was unconstitutional. People at the time were asking about bestiality, polygamy, NAMBLA, and other weird sex games.
If the state can't invade the privacy of two queers, can they legislate any other kind of morality?

NOW watch someone with an agenda jump on this and post a thread stating "Call Placed by Rejected Lover, Texas Rangers Case is Lost, Lost, Lost."
So far, all voluntary. And the women have apparently all indicated they will be tested (i.e. they got ordered by their male leaders to be tested). The men, apart from a cherry-picked threesome who appeared in a TV interview yesterday, have not indicated that they will agree to be tested. It appears their strategy is to try to use DNA matches to the mothers to get the kids given back to the mothers (who would then try to bring them all under the control of the men again), while the men avoiding incriminating themselves by declining to be tested. I don’t think Judge Walther will buy into this game. For sure, she is not going to give anyone standing in court to claim custody of a child without proof that the child is actually that person’s biological offspring.
They can invade their privacy IF they have evidence of the crime. They have evidence of crimes in this cult. People have come forward to talk about it.
