36 years ago, one of the ladies in our college class at Iowa landed a job in the public relations department at Winnebago Industries. Shortly afterward, she drove back down to Iowa City where many of us were still finishing up the spring semester. The Winnebago Brave she drove became a two day rolling party for a 200 mile radius of Iowa City.
We picked up a hitch hiker on I-80 and handed him a beverage when he stepped aboard. I'll never forget the look on his face...
