"Hillary Clinton BUSTED on tape being very bad!" At a small closed-door fundraiser after Super Tuesday, Sen. Hillary Clinton blamed what she called the "activist base" of the Democratic Party -- and MoveOn.org in particular -- for many of her electoral defeats, saying activists had "flooded" state caucuses and "intimidated" her supporters, according to an audio recording of the event. It’s a strange world indeed when Hillary is too far to the right for the dems.

Take off your hat. Let us bow our heads together in tribute to the end of a 40-year love affair.

Even as His Holiness is shoring up his yankee flock, another shephard has parted company with her faithful.

It ain’t quite Rome vs. Constantinople but for some it’s shattering enough.

I'll tell you one thing that has to be costing her votes. Its those never ending phone calls. 'Hello, this is Hillary Clinton...' I hang up. It rings again. 'Hello, this is Hillary Clinton...' Four times in a row.

First, calling registered Republicans is a waste of resources.

Second, all that does is irk the receiver of that call.

I’d suggest being very careful with your noodle around any of that group.

Noodling around on left-wing websites is bad for your noodle. I hope you’re gonna stop off at the clinic and get some good antibiotics.

Speaking of Digg.com, it is sad how little many posters there know of their favorite candidate. Watch them complain that government is too big and spends too much money - and then extol Obama in the very next sentence.

Good post! Pretty sarcastic and funny comments! Rather polite. I was expecting whole bunch ******.

Its interesting how almost all of the posts are anti-Hillary.

She gets more sympathy on FR.

Maybe Digg.com has blocked Hillary supporters.

What's worse is that old leather face is probably right of mccain.

digg is spectacularly goofy. They were all over ron paul, and now obama.

All they care about is the ‘flavor of the month’ candidate. No real thought involved over there.

ACTUAL HILLARY KLINTON QUOTE FROM HUFFINGTON POST:

“Moveon.org endorsed [Sen. Barack Obama] — which is like a gusher of money that never seems to slow down,” Clinton said to a meeting of donors. “We have been less successful in caucuses because it brings out the activist base of the Democratic Party. MoveOn didn’t even want us to go into Afghanistan. I mean, that’s what we’re dealing with. And you know they turn out in great numbers. And they are very driven by their view of our positions, and it’s primarily national security and foreign policy that drives them. I don’t agree with them. They know I don’t agree with them. So they flood into these caucuses and dominate them and really intimidate people who actually show up to support me.”

COMMENT:

She LEAVES plenty of room to wiggle out of it! Typical Klintonian move. Always have plausible denaibility. The “Activist Base” can take umbrage to the quote and that’s fine.

However, O’Reilly, Hannity, Greta, and rest of the FNC crew would DEFEND Hillary as to them Moveon.org might as well be Hamas.

The Dems will be in big trouble in the general election with Obama.

In the general election, the candidates move back toward the center. Obama is so far left, even a big move to the center would still keep him to the left of McGovern or Dukakis. The witch might actually be their better candidate.

Oh well. They dug their hole and now have to lie in it. This is McCain's to lose.
