I was watching stuff on the sun on the History Channel two days ago, and they said that the sun has a sound. They said the sound compares to the loudest rock concert you’ve ever been to, and that speakers would cover the entire surface of the sun. If you just get a wall of 50 Marshall cabinets, you’d be able to hear the band clearly half a mile away.

Talk about overload of decibels.

The subject of sound is well noted in the Hichiker series Restraunt at the End of the Universe by Dougulas Adams. The mention was related to a Rock Concert by the band Disaster Area rather than the sun.

The Sun is one giant nuclear bomb, that’s still blowing up.

To call it noisy would be an understatement.
