When will we in California ever be rid of this stupid, misguided woman?

Maybe Boxer would like to sponsor a resolution honoring that Yale abortiwitch for her contribution to the arts. Seems that would be more up Boxer’s alley.

What is it in our culture that such a completely vapid woman could get elected? Did she make it rich due to her business? Not. Is she responsible for some brilliant social engineering ideas? Not. Did she marry a rich guy and do the exact opposite of what a true feminist would do, catering to senseless ideas in order to keep her position- since she has absolutely no chance of surviving in a competitive world? Thought so.

How about this then;

The pope values "each and every human life." except Barbara Boxer's

Better?

I’ve got an alternative for the resolution...

“And we welcome Pope Benedict XVI, a notable champion of the dignity of human life from conception to natural death and fierce critic of the abortion lobby, such as the honorable enator Barbara Boxer from California beholden to her Planned Parenthood lobby - to our United States of America.

Sen. Barbara Boxer and all her ilk will someday stand before God and have to explain why revering human life in ALL it’s stages was ‘offensive’.

Then she’ll need sunscreen with an SPF of 1 Billion to protect her and her buddies from the fires of hell for all eternity for promoting the mass murder of innocent children.

Other than that, she’ll probably do okay.

For the record, here’s the resolution, authored by Senator Brownback, before they change the “objectionable” wording (toward the end):

RESOLUTION

Welcoming Pope Benedict XVI to the United States and
recognizing the unique insights his moral and spiritual
reflections bring to the world stage.

Whereas Pope Benedict XVI will travel to the United States
for his first pastoral visit as Pope and will visit Washington, DC, and New York;

Whereas Pope Benedict XVI was elected as the 265th Bishop
of Rome on April 19, 2005, succeeding the much beloved
Pope John Paul II;

Whereas the visit of Pope Benedict XVI will mark the 9th
visit of a pope to the United States, recognizing the historical importance of the Catholic Church in American
life, the deep faith and charity of its members, and the
responsibilities of the United States in world affairs;

Whereas Pope Benedict XVI has spoken approvingly of the
vibrance of religious faith in the United States, a faith
nourished by a constitutional commitment to religious liberty that neither attempts to strip our public spaces of
religious expression nor denies the ultimate source of our
rights and liberties;

Whereas Pope Benedict XVI remains committed to ecumenical
dialogue and, during his trip to the United States,
will meet with leaders of world religions and representatives of other Christian denominations and will visit a synagogue in New York City, all demonstrating his commitment to sincere dialogue and unity among all members
of the human family;

Whereas Pope Benedict XVI has authored 2 encyclical letters
inviting the world to meditate on the virtues of love and
hope, ‘‘Deus caritas est’’ and ‘‘Spe salvi’’;

Whereas millions of Americans have discovered in Pope Benedict’s words a renewed faith in the power of hope over despair and love over hate;

Whereas Pope Benedict XVI has been a clear and courageous
voice for the voiceless, working tirelessly for the recognition of human dignity and religious freedom across the globe;

Whereas Pope Benedict XVI has spoken out for the weak and
vulnerable, witnessing to the value of each and every
human life;

Whereas Pope Benedict XVI seeks to advance a ‘‘civilization
of love’’ across our world; and

Whereas Catholics in parishes and schools across the Nation,
and countless other Americans as well, eagerly await the
visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the United States: Now,
therefore, be it

Resolved, That the Senate welcomes Pope Benedict XVI on the occasion of his first pastoral visit to the United States and recognizes the unique insights his moral and spiritual reflections bring to the world stage.

she objected to language about how the pope values "each and every human life."

Ranks right down there with the Dred Scott decision's 3/5-of-a-person" thing. This is beneath pathetic.

Looks like we may have the culprit that’s been stalling the congressional resolution about Pope Benedict....Pelosi’s and Feinstein’s fellow Kalifornia partner in crime....Babs Boxer.

They may grow happy cows in Kalifornia, but with the exception of Rep. Duncan Hunter and possibly a few others, they grow some of the worst politicians in the USA! Babs Boxer needs to have a long meeting with Mister Hickory Switch out behind the woodshed.

Silly me.

I noticed that in both instances Senator Brownback backed down and removed the “offensive” language. When will the the conservatives ever stand up for what’s right and quit bending over every time the RATS squeak?

“Barbara Boxer blocks language saying that the Pope has stood up for every human life.”

Why is that not the headline? Apparently Boxer thinks that the Pope does not stand up for every human life.
