CNNs senior legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin, during a discussion on Fridays "The Situation Room," defended Barack Obamas comments, that small-town voters are often "bitter" and they "cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who arent like them," and blasted Hillary Clinton for her criticism of the comments. "I think that is so ridiculous.... I mean that is not at all what Barack Obama said.... I mean Hillary Clinton is clearly distorting what Obama said. And, by the way, what Obama said is factually accurate." Jack Cafferty, a regular contributor to "The Situation Room," agree with Toobin, and went further. "Look, Jeff's right. They call it the 'Rust Belt' for a reason.... The people are frustrated. The people have no economic opportunity. What happens to folks like that in the Middle East, you ask? Well, take a look. They go to places like al Qaeda training camps. I mean there's nothing new here."

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Jeffrey Toobin is out of touch with average Americans as is Obama.
Of course, white Christian gun owners are no better than terrorists. The Drive-By Democrat Media's view of America in a nutshell.
Obama’s “friends” in the press.....PLEASE KEEP TALKING!!!!

“obama’s ‘bitter’ comments factually accurate”
and it is “factually accurate” that the main stream media and the democrat party sleep together, lie together, intellectualize together and are scu&bags together.
This guy is an @ss.
DON’T WATCH CNN! Problem solved :).
Frustration!
How can talking heads dare to claim that they know what is in the hearts and minds of millions of voters? Whatever they think is OPINION. Only the very arrogant can call Obama’s characterization of middle America fact - accurate or not.
jeffrey toobin ~ another lib/dem a-hole pretending to be an objective journalist of some sort on cnn!!!
Yup. Cafferty is actually equating Americans who are out of work to al-Qaeda. Or at least suggesting they are potential terrorists like al-Qaeda. Unreal.
Christians are Christians, and gun lovers are gun lovers, both in good times and in bad.
Simple as that. The Christians and gun lovers I know happen to be largely happy and optimistic types, if you ask me, and so I’d say Obama is factually inaccurate.
The bitterest people I know are atheists and liberals!
Stunning!
Let the libs/socialists hang on to their myths and misconceptions. We know that the people they are talking about are the salt of the earth and the core of this nation, not like the effete elites and the screwed-up city-dwellers.
A once-famous study of rats showed that, when the rats became overcrowded in a limited space, they turned to homosexuality and to killing their offspring. The ‘rats in the cities are doing just that.
“What happens to folks like that in the Middle East, you ask? Well, take a look. They go to places like al Qaeda training camps. I mean there’s nothing new here.”
So now we are making relative comparisons of small town Americans to terrorists?
Cafferty is a drunken fool.
Gotta love it...Stupid is as stupid does...
They're keeping it on the front burner and all we have to do is sit back and watch the steam...
Jack Cafferty is the older, even uglier 1970’s version of Keith Olberman. He was a reporter on WHO-TV in Des Moines back in the 70’s and was already a souse and a loudmouth then. Is the media so broke that they make the janitors do recruiting, as well?
Lou Dobbs Tonight broke this story by interviewing the “citizen journalist” who blogged Barry’s comments. His take will be interesting and the opposite of these two CNN MSM whores.
