OMG. The FBI?! Heck, I’m not even stunned about the communication, what gets me is that it’s the FBI and not that investigatory-agency-that-shall-not-be-named.

Does the sister’s involvement implicate his wife ... even more so?

The FBI had a little help:

“The FBI and its law enforcement partners brought to bear all of our domestic and international resources to find a man wanted for murder,” said Nathan Gray, the FBI special agent in charge of the investigation. “This was truly an international effort.”

Gray said the FBI would do everything in its power to ensure Laurean is brought back to Onslow County as quickly as possible to answer the charges against him.

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Department, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, the U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Interpol and the Mexican government worked with the FBI to find and arrest Laurean, Gray said.

I hope that Christina and her sister are charged at least as accessories after the fact if not more...
