Klinton making the play for Moonbat vote. May help her in Oregon and that’s about it. All other such States are already out of the way. Although her campaign has decided to fight for the youth-vote. So it could help her elsewhere as well.....I guess.

Hillary was in the Olympics once, wasn’t she? Didn’t she win a bronze medal for the 100-yard lie?

Hillary is fuming that President Bush’s poll numbers will be high during the Olympics because everyone will be happy watching the competitions. Bush will be able to use the bully pulpit to campaign for John McCain. The DemRATS nominiating process will be a back story during the games.

“Didnt she win a bronze medal for the 100-yard lie?”
No. It was the gold medal.
My apologies for brutally disagreeing with you.
But I know am correct! : )
To: Gatún(CraigIsaMangoTreeLawyer)
You're almost correct. She won all three, the bronze, silver, and gold.
No one was foolish enough to try competing with her.
She also won the broad jumping medals.

Just like Iraq, she demands action, knowing such action will never come to pass, nor will she ever need to deal with the consequences.

I think it was the Great One who said that we should either boycott it completely or if we didn’t, the prez should be there for the athletes; half-arsed didn’t cut it - so of course, that’s what Hillary wants.

She needs to boycott herself! It's killing her.

I don’t see how this benefits anybody...except Hillary.
Since the chinese are big with face and all that, this is a great time to pull them aside, and tell them they need to step up and do x, y, and z or we’ll make an example of you. But to openly say it now is of no benefit to anyone

Bush should go to the Olympics. It’s common courtesy. We don’t need to fuel the flames of Chinese nationalism by boycotting the Beijing Olympics.
An Olympic boycott would only strengthen the hardliners in China’s government, and also seal public opinion in China against the West. There are more Chinese under 18 than the entire population of the US. It’s foolhardy to gain 24 hours of ego and harden the opinions of an entire generation of Chinese.
Pelosi, Clinton, Carter and the rest of Democrats are a bunch of intellectual dimwits.

My views about Hillary are no secret. Even a broken clock is still sometimes right. I don't want the President of our country to go to China to legitimize a repressive autocracy.

I don't agree. We're talking about a country that doesn't give its people freedom to speak their minds, to worship, to assembly peaceably and to change their rulers. Chinese nationalism isn't the issue. True Chinese understand the Party doesn't represent the Chinese people.
