Please help us change the law. As you know, our son, Jamiel A. Shaw,
II was murdered on March 2, 2008. Now we are trying to fight back, but we need your help!

On April 8, 2008, at 10:00 a.m., The Shaw Family will be going to City Hall to speak to the Council Members about ‘JamielsLaw’. We are asking you to please visit the website, ‘JamielsLaw.com’. If you agree with JamielsLaw, we are asking you to support us and join us!!

If you are able to join us, please meet us at City Hall, 200 N. Spring Street, 3rd Floor, Room #340 at 9:45 a.m. Please come and let your voice be heard regarding ‘JamielsLaw’.

If you are unable to attend, perhaps you can help us by spreading the word about, ‘www.JamielsLaw.com’ website and forwarding this email to someone that may be interested in joining us at City Hall on April 8,2008.
Our son was on the right track until he was gunned down. He was not an at risk teenager. He was a Child of God. Gang violence must stop killing our community. We need your help!

If you can make it please send us an email. If you can’t make it perhaps you can send an representative from your family or your staff. If you can’t do either, please send us an email of encouragement. Your services are greatly needed!

“But my point is—if they won’t enforce the existing laws, what makes anyone think they’ll enforce this new one?”

They are enforcing existing law. They are enforcing the existing law that says local officers do not have to assist the Feds regarding immigration status.

“axe murderer once bought bouquet of roses from illegal immigrant street vendor. Immigration policies to blame.”

Your sentence makes no sense. The axe murderer is to blame for murder he/she committed.

The illegal immigrant is to blame for not following our immigration laws.

Immigration policies relate to legal immigrants, not illegal immigrants. It is those outside of our immigration laws that the subject of this discussion is.

unfortunately, both party's apparatchiks would prefer to feel important rather than be useful.
