Oh no. Our freedom is right down there with Bulgaria and Mexico. Who made up this list, Chirac?

LOL. Is a good thing Car*B*Cues weren’t part of the criteria. That would have dropped France out of the top 20. Of course all is lovely in Switzerland because they are neutral. And how neutral would they have been with an unchallenged Hitler or Soviet Union?

What is this, ratings month?

I like how they have France listed as 100 in risk and safety. So those thousands of cars burned lasted year must have not counted. Or maybe they just counted the smoke in Environment and the heat in Climate.

And Iraq is the only country to get 100 in cost of living? Ireland 0 and UK 5? Zero? Does that mean it is impossible to maintain life due to the high cost? What are these people drinking? Is this an April fools joke?

Their definition of freedom probably includes homosexual “marriage”, abortion “rights”, gun control and no death penalty.

Probably. I could see Switzerland having more 'freedom' than the US with their low taxes, bank privacy and low gun-control.

If their idea of freedom is no government spying, the UK should score lower than us. They have pretty much every civilized country outside the US with a 100 for freedom.

This is just BS and there is no explanation for these figures.

They have Iraq at 0 for freedom (and Afghanistan at 8). Obviously the US “occupation” is the reason for the low ranking. A lot of countries are given 100 in the freedom category, but the US is put at 92.

That’s true.
Actually the thousands of car burned was in 2005. I would be curious to see the rate they got for this year.

Things are getting better. They only burned about 400 this year so far.
