Faced with a growing chorus to abandon the uphill battle against Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination, Hillary Clinton is falling back on what she sees as her trump card - her gender.
At other perilous junctures like the eve of the New Hampshire primary and the eve of Super Tuesday, the former First Lady highlighted her femininity during televised tearful moments. Now she is portraying the calls for her to quit as male chauvinism.
In comments leaked to the New York Times, Mrs Clinton is said to have told aides that she would not be "bullied out" of the White House race and in a conversation with two allies compared her plight to "big boys" trying to bully a woman.
During a weekend interview with the Washington Post - arranged at her request - she was asked whether Mr Obama could beat John McCain, the Republican nominee.
She responded: "I'm saying I have a better chance. You cannot as a Democrat win the White House without a very big women's vote. What I believe is that women will turn out for me."
In the past 10 days, Senators Chris Dodd and Pat Leahy and Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico - all key Obama allies - have urged Mrs Clinton to abandon her presidential bid so her party can unite around the young Illinois senator.

When she got in this race, she thought she would be the "beloved" of the party. There would be no nominee available EXCEPT her.
In her wildest dreams, she never dreamed a "Black man" with oratorical skills would step on stage.
All the other "men" were whimps...like Lazio...she would easily sweep them away....and she did.
ANd at this point, everyone knows she is NOT a team player but will lie, cheat, cry and mock at every turn.

Its not sexist because any fool can tell you that Hillery is not a woman. Hillery is a Wanna be Woman.
Its not racist because Obama is only a pretend Black man, who has achieved education and success in life, handed to him on a white mans platter. Obama is a Wannabee Black Man. His neocolonial politicking in Kenya proves it.

If women (excuse me, womyn) vote for her thighness because she is a woman, that's perfectly o.k. Just like it is o.k. for blacks to vote for B.O. because he is black.
But if you criticize Hillary for any reason, you are a chauvinist. If you criticize B.O. for any reason, you are a racist.
I hope McCain is paying attention, because whichever one gets the democRat nomination, this will be the centerpiece of the democRat campaign.
If it wasn’t for the race card and the gender card, Hillary and Obama wouldn’t have any cards at all. The public figuring this out is what’s keeping Howard Dean up at night.

The embellishment and certainty of the liar’s account has to shake up anyone previously fooled into thinking there was any integrity there.

I mean The Rev. was bad enough for Obama, but Hillary’s blatantly audacious lie is her own personal lie. No one can say she not a liar without lying.
Blame to Obama, though justified, is vicarious.
It’s like those monster movies where everyone knows the guy’s dead except the guy himself. Guy = HRC.
