Here is powerful video of Sen. John McCain speaking of the horrors of war, but also speaking forcefully about America's responsibility to finish the job in Iraq rather than following the Democrats' path of precipitous withdrawal - a path McCain said would be "morally reprehensible," and a "stain on the character of a great nation."

McCain made the comments in a major Foreign Policy address today, March 26, 2008, before the World Affairs Council in Los Angeles, California. . . .

Good on McCain for speaking clearly on what is at stake.

And its for that reason that I’m going to hold my nose and vote for McCain.

Good for big John!

He knows what’s at stake.

I don’t agree with the man on everything, but he’s gonna get my vote, and that’s for certain!

Why would it be a stain?

If you pull out too early, it always leaves a stain.

But he is willing to sign Kyoto and play nice with socialist Europe.

We can’t afford McCain. For every bomb and bullet he’s going to want us to buy some carbon offsets.

Is this the same speech where he said we should work with our allies more ? He’s repeating the John Kerry line that we were cowboys in Iraq and totally dismisses the 64 nations who contributed to the effort.

I find McLame a stain on the Republican party.

True.

And it never goes away.

What scares me about Obama....

He will fill his cabniet with Jew haters because the Extreme Left and Black Nationalist blames the Jews for everything.

We will withdraw from Iraq, Afghanistan and enable all the terrorist groups to take out Israel. I see American hostages in the future and more extortion by Kim Jong-Il. I see more nuclear weapon proliferation because Obama will not use military force to back up his non-proliferation policies.

That’s Obama’s foreign policy in a nutshell.

No, you can’t afford McCain. Personally, I think of the choices, he’s the least expensive.

“That’s Obama’s foreign policy in a nutshell.”

I agree with you 100%. His domestic policy will include reparations, massive new entitlements for the underclass, new laws obstructing law enforcement efforts and a socialist judiciary. His cabinet will look like the cast of Amos ‘N Andy.

Is this the same speech where he said we should work with our allies more ?

Last night, on FOX News, Charles Krauthammer surmised that the reason for this Democratic alliance would be to form a world organization of Democratic countries only, including India and excluding Russia and China, to replace the United Nations as the place to negotiate politically. For obvious reasons, he said, McCain could never say this publicly, but this is the intended result.

If true, and successful, it would be a big improvement.

I think he’s the most expensive. He’ll destroy what’s left of the conservative wing of the Republican party, the little bit that’s left after Bush and Co have trashed us.

I’d rather have a traitor Dem who will cause anyone still thinking in this country to wake up and take this country back.

Without that, we have no conservative country left, and nothing to save.

That would be true, but for a guy aligned with Ted Kennedy, Russ Feingold and John Edwards, I have to be very skeptical about that.
