I certainly don't know why people of mixed race aren't proud of both their parents...

you would think Barry Bama would be closer to his mother, since his bio dad ditched him...and his typical white grandparents raised him.....

does Tiger Woods ever even allude to his mother who is a Thai?....

it seems a large percentage of blacks are of mixed blood.....but I guess they get more benefits if they say their black...

Historically anyone who was part black was always considered black under slavery and Jim Crow laws, and in general they still are, so it's not exactly fair to say they are just doing so for benefits now.

As for Tiger, he really doesn’t allude to a racial identity at all. He doesn't promote himself as a “black golfer”, (though others may), just as himself, a guy who happens to have ancestors of several races. That's something I have always really respected about him, and a big part of his popular success, IMO.
