From Jack Cafferty to even Keith Olbermann, the mainstream media has begrudgingly had to acknowledge that Hillary Clinton’s recent “scripted” recollection of dodging sniper fire in Bosnia was not just a misstatement, but a bold faced lie. A lie told to bolster her image as an experienced, courage-under-fire, presidential candidate ready to become Commander-in-Chief.
The media, as usual, has been slow to jump onboard because they depend on candidates to come on and give interviews. When they think they’re being unduly picked on, they avoid that network. So media outlets are careful to fully check stories before they run them. Those of us online have no such concerns, as I sincerely doubt that any of the presidential candidates will take time out of their busy schedules to be interviewed by anyone on Outside The Wire… yet.
We have both the luxury (and the responsibility) of coming to snap judgments, so we can break stories as they happen. In the case of Hillary’s Bosnia Sniper Jog, we alerted readers to her misstatements as they occurred. The Clinton spin-machine went into action Monday, but there is one way to gauge how damaging this whole Snipergate could truly be.
There is NO mention of this incident on Media Matters.
For those of you who are not familiar with Media Matters, according to Hillary herself at last year’s Daily Kos Convention, it was a website founded in part by her to counter the attacks coming from the “vast, right wing conspiracy.”

Anyone else afraid that the MSM will be even more vicious than normal to the Republican candidate after the Dems have their nominee, justifying their actions by saying the Dem primary has caused the Dem to endure much greater criticism already, and it needs to be “balanced”?
That's bunk. They have no such compunction when it comes to conservatives. They give softball interviews and favorable press to their ideological compatriots.
The Dems created this Frankenstein. We have been telling them for years that Hillary had a serious problem with the truth. Safire pointed it out on the pages of the NYT back in the 90’s. They made this bed and now they have to sleep in it.
I wonder if Hillary will next claim she spent Christmas with John Kerry in Vietnam.
Who is the ghost writer who “scripted” the fiction for Hillary? Did she forget who it was? Does she deny hiring the speech writer? Since she has the unbelievably fast rate of speech (1 Million words per day), may she is a victim “Swift-Scripting”.
They also depend on the millions of dollars that the campaigns send in the media. Could this be the reason that the watch-dog of democracy has been turned into the lap-dog of the RATS.

Tune in to FOX News. It now is showing video of Hillary's landing and welcome in Bosnia and there's not a sniper in sight--just little children giving her flowers!

I agree with that, and that’s why I support Operation Chaos. McCain benefits greatly from being temporarily sidelined. Once the Dem race concludes, the MSM and the nutroots’ treatment of McCain will border on lunacy.
She could not possibly have forgotten that there was press with her on that day in Bosnia, so:
A) She has truly medically-qualified neuroses/psychoses which allow her to believe anything she makes up in her mind about her adventures; or
B) She out-and-out lied and didn’t believe the sycophantic press would call her on it.
Either alternative should scare the crap out of everyone.

What’s really odd to me is that once Sinbad refuted her story, why did she dismiss his account with “He’s a comedian”... rather than saying, “Let me double-check”? Sinbad was there in Bosnia with her, so his public comments about the trip warned Team Hillary that continuing her lie wouldn’t fly. Yet, she stubbornly refused to back down and compounded the error by dissing a black guy unselfishly in Bosnia for a USO tour. I don’t know what to call that - stupid, stubborn, crazy?
Do you remember how she told her fib about Chelsea jogging near the world trade center. I know there are many more!
