Whay didn’t the honorable Mr. Obama give credit to the white folks who fought and even gave their lives so that racial discrimination would bow its ugly head in this country I’d like to know? How about credit where credit is due?

Quite a few of those people were with the various "Weather Underground" and like organizations...they used 'civil rights' to try and over through the United States government. For Obama to mention those he knew might prove embarrassing.
