Well, everyone always points to Lincoln as a brokered candidate. But the dims are fresh all out of Lincolns and he was a republican anyway. This just makes it more of a shamed that McInsane is our candidate. Virtually any one of the other candidates would have kicked butt. Unfortunately it is becoming more and more apparent that the candidate selection process excels at finding the worst possible people for the job. The only reason that McInsane has a chance is that the dim party is so incompetent that they can’t even perform their most basic function, which is to select a viable candidate for president. Add to this the incompetence of Howard Dean in barring the Florida and Michigan delegates, to must win states and you have a party that isn’t fit rule Albania. And who was the genius that thought up proportional splitting of delegates and super duper delegates anyway? If you think about it for five minutes you come to the conclusion that a virtual stalemate is inevitable. At some point there has to be a close race where both candidates fail to garner the needed delegate totals. The chickens are coming home to roost.

I’d expect businesses to plan on closing and battening down the hatches well in advance of this nightmare. I wonder how insurance rates will be affected for the convention, the preceding and post convention periods.
People will probably plan to be out of town for the period, as well. I doubt anyone who lives there, at this point, has a good feeling about it.

Because this is being reported so hard and heavy, it’s a cinch it won’t take place. All the Stupordelegates have to do is go with Osama and make this nightmare go away. And so they will.

And apparently the ‘rats are falling ‘way behind in their fundraising efforts to secure the $40 million they need to pay for the convention itself - Denver should be lots of fun this summer......

Hell know no fury or violence like that between the factions of a political party that is non-violent, anti-2nd amendment, anti-war, tree hugging, and very very political correct. There will be blood, I tell ya.
