This just goes to show that when President Reagan made his mistakes they were big mistakes!
To be fair, O’Connor wasn’t nearly as liberal in her early years. She started off as a moderate/conservative, then became a moderate after Reagan and then during the last few years of her term became a moderate/liberal.
By the way, McCain said he would appoint justices like “O’Connor.”
