Roger Bergendorff, 57, an unemployed graphic artist, summoned an ambulance Feb. 14, complaining of respiratory distress. He spent almost four weeks in a coma and unconscious, and has been treated for kidney failure.
He remained in fair condition Thursday at a Las Vegas hospital.

The Free Republic Lexicon has never had a full and complete definition of "Vanity Post" BUT! If you do some homework you'll see there is no way this posting is a "Vanity."
A vanity post is a contribution written by the poster -- such as,
"Why I don't want Ricin in my Wheaties" by Freeper Sanitytime.
They have included posts like, "Help me name my dog," "Why does my kid always get ear infections," "I Need Help with my Economics Paper" etc.
In the early days of FR (and the Internet) the Breaking News category was often abused with people posting things like: "My dog just died," "How do you find your car keys?"
Those are vanity posts, wrongly placed under the category of Breaking News.
