“...my Masters Degree from the University of Chicagos Divinity School was in the area of Islam in West Africa during the 19th Century when the trans-Atlantic Slave Trade was at its zenith.”
Sorry, Doc. No slaves from Africa were allowed into the U.S. after 1808. So much for your masters degree.
Funny how Hillary had to apologize for Ferraro’s remark, but when Obama’s pastor/mentor spews racism and hate somehow it’s our fault....and his white grandmother’s fault too.

When he says that he can't disown Wright anymore than he can disown the black community, he is telling the black community that he agrees with Wright just as many of them do also.
Bringing his grandmother into it was the most disgusting part to me. In making that equation he failed to show any reason why any rational person would disown their grandmother, which was the crux of the analogy, but in saying it he made it sound like he felt there was...but for his magnanimous character.
From NR’s the Corner:
Obama then and now [Mark Steyn]
From a reader of mine in Quebec:
Old Barack:
Dont tell me words dont matter.
I have a dream. Just words?
We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal. Just words?
We have nothing to fear but fear itself. Just words? Just speeches?
New Barack:
‘God damn America.’ Just words.
‘US government created Aids, supplied drugs to our community.’ Just words.
‘US of KKKA.’ Just words.
‘What we are doing is the same thing al-Qaeda is doing.’ Just words.
‘Until now, I was never proud of my country.’ Just words from my wife.
That is an excellent point. Pastor Wright isn’t some lone anomaly standing apart from the “holy” atmosphere filling the rest of the church. He is simply the overflowing mouth of the congregation whose heart is saturated with hate for whites and America.
Very nicely written!
Nice catch!
Obama has the time and energy to jet around America giving speeches on a glorious future of unity for our children.
Obama doesn’t have the time or energy to whisper in Wright’s ear that he is setting a bad example for our children.
/Bump
As Godwin1 points out a direct example for Barack’s own children.
Yes!
Great post because it shows the false “messiah” for the hypocrite that he is. Most people don’t take to kindly with throwing grandma under the bus. Especially when it’s the same person the sacrificed so much of their own life to raise you.
His half brother Abongo (Roy) Obama was his best man in his 'African' wedding. Barak praised him in his book (pp 203-204) and laughed off Roy's strident anti-White islamic rants as understandable. Roy is supposedly a Sharia loving radical, maybe militant, muslim.
Senator Obama actively campaigned for Reala Odinga, who claims to be his cousin, in Odinga's failed attempt to win the Presidency of Kenya. Odinga is an avowed Marxist who was educated in East Germany. Barak's campaigning was so active and highly visible that the sitting government publicly rebuked him, all while he was a US Senator.
Odinga had the written backing of NMALEF, a militant islamic group dedicated to a muslim, sharia Africa. He signed a MOU with this group wherein they committed the muslim vote to him in exchange for the implementation of Sharia law in Kenya (google odinga, kenya, nmalef, mou).
Odinga lost and the killing of non-muslims began. It ended only when the Government caved and agreed to a power sharing arrangement with him.
This to me is far worse an indicator of Obama's potential to hurt our country than is the connection to Wright.
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!
Nice post! My parents, and older relatives, used "bad words" around me when I was growing up. It was a generational thing, and it's past time to MOVE ON!
But to throw his grandmother under the bus, I was appalled. And I'm confident that there are millions of Americans who feel the same way.

Wright is a racist piece of dirt. Can't excuse that away.
Absolutely!
Barack Hussein Obama, 2008, "I have an excuse!"
Martin Luther King, 1963, "I have a dream!"
Barack Hussein Obama, 2008, "I had a dream of becoming POTUS, but the pastor at my church of 20 years screwed me out of it with hate speech!"
