Mr. Obama had to address race and religion, the two most toxic subjects in politics. He was as powerful and frank as Mitt Romney was weak and calculating earlier this year in his attempt to persuade the religious right that his Mormonism is Christian enough for them.

Last week on Hannity Obama was interviewed by Major Garrett.

When Major Garrett asked him directly abouth the offensive sermons, Barack answered:

"None of these statements were ones that I had heard myself personally in the pews."

Then, in his speech yesterday, March 18, 2008, he asked himself the same question again and answered it.

"Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes."

These are direct contradictions...and reflect directly on the character of the man.

He did know of Wrights inflamatory sermons, of his hate, and disgusting vitriol for America and whites. He sat through it, he listened to it, he brought his children to that trough to be fed.

Those attitudes and feelings have shaped this man over 20 years...and now he wants to be President.
