Obama Attended Hate America Sermon
NewsMax.com ^ | March 16, 2008 | Ron Kessler

Posted on 03/17/2008 1:11:07 AM PDT by parousia

Juan Williams, a Fox commentator whose book addresses the 'phony leaders and dead end groups that "promote a Culture of Failure and are undermining Black America,” tells Newsmax that Wright’s sermons reflect “the victim mindset that is so self-defeating in the black community and one that is played on by weak black leadership that chooses to have black people identified as victims rather than inspiring them as people who have overcome. In posing as victims, they say the most prejudiced and vicious things, not only about whites but about America. They call it theology. In fact, it’s nothing but bigotry.”

Though Obama claimed he never heard his pastor Jeremiah Wright, preach hatred of America, Obama was in the pews last July 22 when the minister blamed the “white arrogance” of America’s Caucasian majority for the world’s suffering, especially the oppression of blacks.

"I decry racism and anti-Semitism in every form and strongly condemn the anti-Semitic statements made by Minister Farrakhan," Obama said. But after Wright’s church gave a lifetime achievement award to Louis Farrakhan in December, Obama was careful not to condemn Farrakhan himself or Wright for their church's commendation of the controversial Nation of Islam leader.

Like Wright, Farrakhan has repeatedly made hate-filled statements targeting Jews (calling Judaism a “gutter religion”), whites, America, and homosexuals. He has called whites “blue-eyed devils” and the “anti-Christ.” and described Jews as “bloodsuckers” who control the government, the media, and some black organizations.

There is something very 'fishy' about Obama's disclaiming any knowledge of his carefully selected spiritual mentor of 20 years using his pulpit to incite racial hatred against whites and rant damnation against the United States for bringing on 9-11 by our 'terrorist' policies. Obama and his family sat under this man's race baiting teaching for 29 years...how could this demogoguery not have made them uncomfortable unless a harmonious chord was struck with the Obamas? Impossible....and it belies Barak Hussein's claims of being a 'uniter' of all America! This guy almost makes Hillary seem like a politician of integrity , (which we all know she is not.)

Shouldn't Hussein be done by now? Stick a fork in him.

I don't understand how it is that he's still in this race.

But then again, I don't understand how Hillary! ever got in to begin with, let alone BO (they both stink).

This is what it took to make Hillary look warm and decent...

No wonder she didn’t bow out. She knew what was coming.

If Hillary is a smart as I think she is, she’ll immediately go after the Jewish vote in PA, Florida, NY, CA and elsewhere and show herself to be a strong supporter of Israel BUT ALSO to lambaste Obama’s mentor/preacher of 29 years as the anti-Semite, bigot and racist that he (the preacher) is.

I think we want Obama to be lightly toasted but not done. Strong enough to hit Hillary, wounded enough to be vicious about it.

Both candidates are deeply flawed, as long as they both vie for power, they will continue to claw at each other.

The ideal outcome is death by a thousand blows to each culminating in August.

The conservative media wants Obama out because they know he is the weaker candidate against McCain in the general elections. Remember that there is only one goal for the conservative media: “Defeat John McCain at any cost”.

Obama gave a speech at La Raza conference on Sunday July 22 at 1:30 PM.

http://www.nclr.org/content/news/detail/47386/

What time was Wright sermon? It takes 3 hour to go from Chicago to Miami so Obama has to leave Chicago by 9:30 AM (10:30 AM Miami time) at the latest.

BE VERY CAREFUL. Obama campaign says he didnt attend any services on July 22. There was some conference he went to in Florida in the afternoon.

Could it be that the date was the 29th, very similar to 22, or 15th or 8th of July?

I noticed that there are two “religions” that spend most of their sermon time in angry tirades about the people that they hate. Black churches and the Cult of Death.
Black churches blame all their problems on Whitey and oppression, not on self-loathing and self-induced pathologies. The Cult of Death spews hatred for Jews and Christians and urges followers to go out and cut their heads off.

It still remains to be shown, that if the man can’t be lucid enough to be apprised of his own church’s true mission after 20 years, how the hell can he be fit to assess his role in the white house?

It stinks all over - The church has nothing to lose in all this anyway. I bet their attendance and DVD sales are way up there!

Juan Williams has come a long way in the years I have been watching and listening to him. The permanent sneer in his voice and on his face has disappeared. It used to be a struggle for me just to listen to him but somewhere along the line, he must have had an epiphany and saw the error of his thinking. I now consider him to be on the right side of at least this issue and that is a real good thing.

What really needs to be discussed is how the Democratic controlled education system is the biggest contributor to the suppression of people of color.

Democratic candidates need their supporters to be illiterate so that they are the only source of information.

In the 40 years that the democrats and teachers unions have been running education, the achievement gap has grown to an abyss.
Why don’t Black Pastors see this?

If only excelling in school and fighting for effective education programs were the social gospel.

BHOs disclaimer is more than fishy, it’s a lie.

Thanks for the post.

It really doesn't matter if Obama was at a particular sermon or not. If you take a look at the church's website, TUCC and the BLACK VALUE SYSTEM on which it is based, you can see how racist this organization is.

As long as the MSM and others continue to focus on personalities like pastor Wright and speculate whether Obama was at a particular sermon or not, the better it is for Obama who can distance himself from Wright and claim he wasn't present at some of the sermons. The focus should be on the church itself and Obama's 20 year association with it.

Did any of the Rezko money make its way to Wright?

“Black churches blame all their problems on Whitey and oppression”

I think we’re painting too broad of a brush here. I’ve known some religious black people and attended some black churches and nothing like this was preached at the pulpit and I think these same people would be appalled at what comes out as a sermon. Certainly ancedotal evidence and maybe its the better nature in me, but I think that the majority of black churches would have nothing to do with this crap.

Let’s remember that J.C. Watts is an ordained minister. I seriously doubt his sermons have ever touched on this crap. By painting a broad brush of all black churches we are guilty of the same garbage that this pastor is.

He’ll should be, but he won’t be. There is a reason this “broke” the day after a primary where there were 6 weeks+ until the next one. This would have to remain the lead story for more than a month to be on the minds of voters in late April, and by then something else will likely break that will move it off the front page.
